Mele Kalikimaka!

Mele Kalikimaka is the thing to say
On a bright Hawaiian Christmas Day
Well, Lil' Genghis and mom are hanging out in a decidedly warm Brazil at the moment, which isn't quite Hawai'i.
Here we see BellinhaBear going for a cruise on the carpet:

Aunt Becky is going to Hawai'i for Christmas, which makes this song fair game:
That's the island greeting that we send to you
From the land where palm trees sway

dad is still hanging out in the States for a bit, where he's had two big snow storms since mom left just a few days ago.

dad spent five hours in the car at walking speed, and has many fond memories of stopping, in the fast lane, on an interstate, and cleaning his windshield. At least six times. Along with typically five other drivers or so. A sample:

Still, there's always home sweet home.
Here we know that Christmas will be green and bright
The sun to shine by day and all the stars at night

That's dad's new car there getting a car wash from the snow piled up against it. See that little yellow thing? That's a 48-inch (1.2m) thing sticking up.
Mele Kalikimaka is Hawaii's way
To say "Merry Christmas to you."

But it's just a matter of a few days before we all get back together again, and share the lil' lady who keeps us so warm inside, all the time:

Where it's warm for her, of course, Lil' Genghis is all but living in a swimming pool and, presumably, soon, the ocean. The sun will be bright and warm, and palm trees will sway. Kinda like this:

Dear Reader, a Mele Kalikimaka to you. =)
