Random update

Lil' Genghis is on another growth spurt. She now has at least one more tooth (she doesn't like when we try to check). Last night, she had four bottles in the middle of the night, something like 21 ounces, or 650ml, of milk. Middle.Of.The.Night. You know, like Day.Of.The.Dead. Poor mom is on the verge of becoming a zombie. ...

... but she's going to be playing single mom for a while, because dad wrenched out his back a bit and isn't supposed to be picking up Lil' Genghis, even for a friendly game of Fart-o-naut. Dang.

mom has posted some newer pictures on her Flickr account. Uncle Eddie came up to visit this past weekend, but poor Aunt Amanda was immersed in school work. Best wishes to her! Remember when we said she was eating a lot?

In dad's favorite movies, a former Nazi scientist gets so excited during an argument about the pending nuclear war that he leaps out of his wheelchair and, stunned, exclaims, "Mein fuhrer! I can valk!" (It's a parody, of course. No country would ever hire a war criminal and put him in a position of authority.)


SO!

In dad's favorite bipedal daughter, Lil' Genghis, she now leaps to her feet .. well, pulls her way up ... and then takes a few steps. Earlier today, she walked the whole length of mom, about 5 feet 8 inches.
